International Eucharistic Congress

Eighty years after the first International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin, the religious festival begins again, this time including our very own St James’s Church in the festivities. All over the country parishes are staging events designed to bring people from all countries together in common cause.

A Pilgrim walk as been organized around seven churches in the city. Pilgrims are given a passport which is stamped in participating churches as they get an opportunity to see some of Dublin’s finest churches and a pleasurable walk around the city. Below is a list of participating churches and their mass times.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Whitefriar Street

Sunday Masses
Saturday Vigil: 6.00pm,
Sunday: 8.OO, 10.30 and 11.30am, (Choir), 12.30 p.m., 4.00 p.m. (Choir) and 7.00pm.

Masses on Holydays
8.00, 10.00 and 11.00 am, 12 noon, 1.10, 3.00 and 6.00pm.

Weekday Masses
8.OO, 10.00 and 11.30am, 1.10 and 3.00pm. First Fridays- as Weekdays

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Monday to Friday: 10.30am to 11.30 am; 3.00 to 4.00pm. Saturday: 10.30am to 1.30pm; 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

Miraculous Medal: Mondays at 2.30pm: Rosary and Benediction.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel: Saturdays at 2.30pm: Rosary and Benediction. St Jude- Tuesdays at 8.OOpm: Mass and Intercession.
