Content: Regiment Irlanda was one of three Irish regiments in the Spanish Army during the Napoleonic Wars. Join us in Clarke Square to witness a re-enactment of the regiment’s foot and arms drills as these ’Irish Wild Geese’, dressed in the regiments distinctive blue uniforms and armed with traditional flintlock muskets, take commands in Spanish to wheel, march and fight in lines. No booking required

Also Comedian Christiane O’Mahoney, Dance performances from ‘The Zoryanna’, Adele and ‘Tamure Tahiti’. Musically we will enjoy a variety of performances: Sister Abigail, Gwen Moore and Honor Heffernan’s wonderful two all-female acapella groups ‘High Five’ and ‘The Plurabelles’. Plus Visual art presentations and more!
