97th Dublin City Liffey Swim

Hope  you all had a wonderful weekend, the weather was surely good and it is hard to believe that summer is making way for autumn already.

If you did not catch all the action this weekend, do not worry here is the results of Saturday’s 97th Dublin City Liffey Swim.

Brian Murray, swimming for the Eastern Bay Club, won the men’s event with a time of 29 minutes and 46 seconds.

Jennifer Gilbert, swimming for the Swim4life Club, won the women’s event, finishing the race in 31 minutes and 29 seconds.

The 2.2 kilometres race started at 1.30 pm at the Rory O’Moore Bridge and finished at the North Wall Quay in front of the Customs House.

Congratulations to all the other participants as well, you showed great courage and determination. That’s the stuff  “Vikings” are made of!
