Marrowbone Lane Friday Fun Day
On Friday 19th August 2016, Marrowbone Lane organised a Friday fun festival to mark the conclusion of the very successful 2016 summer project. The project has been organised the Fountain Resource Group.
With the dark clouds looming over head, the threat of rain was on everyone’s mind, because there was heavy rain earlier. Despite the dark clouds, there were plenty of cheerful children and adults dotted around the football pitch and directly outside the Resident’s Association where the hot food was being prepared.
There were bouncy castles, face painting, a candy floss machine and a barbecue serving tasty burgers and sausages. There was also a DJ, playing the very latest tracks. Despite the dark clouds, the day remained mostly dry. All the children were given a bag of treats to take home with them.
