Christmas Dinner in the Fountain Youth Project! – The management team of the Fountain Resource Group gets spoilt by the young people of the Fountain Youth Project
The Fountain Youth Project’s management team was treated to a full three course Christmas Dinner by the young people of the Fountain Youth Project.
The young people who are learning the intricacies of home cooking through their Gaisce award programme put on a delicious menu for the management team.
Staff were treated to 5 star service, in a beautiful laid out room, by the young people.
Under the professional eye of our new youth worker team Derek Moloney and Martin Saunders, who have been developing the programme with the young people. It was amazing evening and they need not have been worried, the food was absolutely delicious, and we in the FRG management are very grateful to the young people who took time out to put on this event. It was credit to them that the smallest detail (after dinner mints and short bread after the meal – I’m not used to this treatment!) was worked out.
There was so much work put in, we were all really touched by their effort, all the team have been talking about nothing else this morning!
Our sincere thanks to Jodie, Emma, Shauna, Georgia, Madison, Josh, Elisha, Eric, Cara and Ashley who worked tirelessly to put on the show.
And of course, our thanks to the youth workers Derek and Martin who have hit the ground running and are building a solid rapport with the young people and the community.
