Dublin City Council has announced that 5 Bring Centres will be operating 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm until the 27th September 2015. Currently there are 8 Community Bring Centres operating within the Administration Area of Dublin City Council.

“We’ve opened these Bring Centres on Sunday because we want to make it as easy and convenient as possible for people to recycle more. It will be particularly popular for people working on their garden over the summer who need to dispose of garden waste,” Sandra Smith, Environmental Scientific Officer with Dublin City Council said.

The Bring Centres allow you to recycle anything ranging from glass, paper, cardboard, cans, plastics, old furniture, broken appliances, and garden waste. These materials can be deposited for free, except the green waste which has a charge of €2 per 80litre bag. The Rathmines and Coolock centres provide bags of compost in exchange for garden waste.

A list of Bring Centres opened 7 days a week:

Upper Grangegorman Road, Dublin 7 (off North Circular Road)
Collins Avenue, Dublin 9 (opposite DCU)
Oscar Traynor Road, Collins Avenue, Dublin 5
Gullistan Terrace, Rathmines, Dublin 6
