Dublinia at Halloween
Creepy cures and Ridiculous Remedies
24th October – 31st October 2015
From: 12pm – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm
Thomas O’Brien, the bloody Barber Surgeon, seeks advice from Biddy Deasy who uses alternative ways of healing. This will include stories about death and disease in Medieval Dublin. The Deilg Inis Living History theatre company stars in this performance.
Imaginosity Halloween Mid Term Events

Imaginosity hosts fun midterm activities this Halloween. There will be spooky story telling in the in-house theatre on Thursday 29th at 12pm and Friday 30th at 4pm.
Halloween Spook-Tacular Disco
Imaginosity’s Resident Witch Martina will invite you to dance along to this spooky disco which will be held on Halloween at 10am. There will be prizes presented to the ‘Best Dressed’ so wear your scariest outfits.
The Masquerade Mystery at Malahide Castle
Wednesday 28th October until Saturday 31st of October.
Tours are from 10:30am until 3:30pm.
Malahide Castle welcomes you to a Masquerade Mystery tour this Halloween. Dress up in yours most frightening attire and there will be face painting and magic shows.
Midterm workshop: Go Wild at the Museum
Friday 30th October 2015 11:30 am – 1pm
This is a decorative arts and history workshop held in Collins Barracks. Lisa Flanagan will show you how to make Japanese objects called ‘Netsuke’. These are beautifully carved toggles that are used like buttons.
Dublin Zoo is hosting its annual ‘Boo at the Zoo’

From 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
Dublin Zoo presents a spooky day with lots of enjoyable activities for the whole family. There will be scary makeovers, colouring competitions, a monster disco on the main lawn, pumpkin carving and mask making demonstrations. There will also be storytelling where you will learn about the dangerous animals in the zoo. The children are asked to dress up in their fancy dress costumes and join the witches and gremlins in the parade.
