On the 24th of September 2016 a Discussion on Gender Dysphoria will be held at St. Patrick’s University Hospital, Dublin 8, led by Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Aileen Murtagh from the Willow Grove Adolescent Unit.
Dr Murtagh is a Consultant at SPUH and also has a small outpatient practice. The following topics will be covered:

The talks will aim at making the audience aware of what the transition means to a young patient and to educate parents and GP’s, especially, on ways to handle young patients and how to advice them on further treatments, counselling and guidelines.
