A designer fashion sale and show will take place at the RDS Concert Hall on Sunday November 12th in aid of St Michael’s House which provides services for people with intellectual disabilities.
Entry to the day which runs from 11am to 5pm at the RDS Concert Hall in Ballsbridge will be free. Fashion shows will run at 11.30, 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30.
The event is organised by a group of volunteers from St Michael’s House. The show and sale has run successfully over a number of years and has raised just under €100K for St Michael’s House over the last four years, supporting a sensory room, new buses, kitchens and other supports.
The second-hand designer clothes for the sale have been collected from across Dublin and will include top brands. Women and men’s fashions from Chanel, Chloé, Simone Rocha and many more will be included and available for preview.
About St Michael’s House
For 57 years, St. Michael’s House has been a leader in the development and provision of community-based services for people with an intellectual disability in Ireland.
Service users, parents and families are at the heart of how services are planned and delivered. The organisation as a voluntary body is governed by a board of directors, many of whom are parents of a service user.
Today, they provide a range of services to 1,663 children and adults with an intellectual disability in over 170 centres in the Greater Dublin Area and Navan Co. Meath. Services include: individualised services, clinical therapies, early services, special national schools, inclusive education, vocational training, adult day services, employment support, residential, independent living, respite, social, recreational and specialised Alzheimer services.
