Bee advised. By/Tony Gorman 29th June 2018
I’m a lover of all kinds in the nature world and hove noticed that there is a distinct lack of bees this year which prompted me to write my poem as something needs to be done to help bees and other insects from disappearing off the planet.

We poison vegetation...
A Course in Bereavement
When sickness takes the one’s you love and you are in despair
And grief becomes a part of you and tears are all you share
Bring memories back into your mind of happier days gone by
And share these memories with those who lend their shoulder when you cry
For loved ones who have passed over are never...
Welcome to the fall
Hallow be to all we see
As autumn comes our way
When evenings they grow shorter
To cloak the light of day
When ripened fruit will bow the branch
And winds will make them fall
And fields of gold are sowed again

And migrant birds have left our shores
Before our winters chill

The Killing Fields of the Somme
In the fields where once the trenches were

As their leaders sat in safety
While the corpses grew and grew
Up and over was the call there
As...

And what we hold our children with to cradle them asleep
And help wipe away a teardrop with when we see somebody weep
But other arms can hurt when they’re in the form of guns
And bombs and rockets...
At One with Life
At one with life can mean a lot along the trails we roam
And each one is a page in time a chapter or a poem
We take the things that come our way to teach us what we know
Like extracting seeds and planting them to watch the product grow
The light of day will illuminate the paths and help us see
A road...
Escaping the Grim Reaper
My time it had been borrowed
From the clock upon the wall
Its pendulums just ticked away
As my life heard death’s loud call
Every day the clock ticked louder
To help my life extend
As the minutes turned to hours
Its face became my friend
And days turned into months
And the months turned into years
And...
