Youth Project Art Work Brings Community Alive
So after 4 months of planning, thinking, working, shopping and discussions the work has begun on getting the mural onto the wall beside the playground, our Youth Project has been working very hard to recapture the wonderful community spirit of the area on the walls.
Mairon Mulligan (founding member of the FRG), who sadly left us last year, is currently being immortalized, along with artistic renderings of Basin Street’s past, present and hopeful future by our young people from the Fountain Youth Project.
There will be an official unveiling of the wall on Friday 10th of April at 12 pm, with a reception in the youth project after with some refreshments, all are welcome.
