A rather large development for the Vicar Street venue on Thomas Street has applied for an extension of duration of permission.
At the rear of Vicar Street’s music venue, a new 8 storey hotel is proposed. The hotel developed will contain up to 194 bedrooms, a bar and restaurant and creative artist studio.
Also of note in this week’s planning permission is the proposed demolition of 3 single storey houses and the construction of 50 new residential units (to include 34 terraced houses and 16 apartments as been approved for St Teresa’s Gardens by Dublin City Council. This is big news for the redevelopment of that area.
