There is not too much planning activity this week in Dublin 8. An application has been made to turn a street-front office on Usher’s Quay into a residential unit. There are quite a few empty offices on that part of the Quays, so it is no surprise to see landlords changing their usage, particularly as there is a shortage of affordable housing in the city, due to a lack of new developments.
St. Michael’s Church in Inchicore have applied to do some internal work, including the construction of toilets, a store, a bookstore, and a draught buy mylan alprazolam lobby under the choir loft. Meanwhile, over at the Clancy Quay development in Islandbridge, permission has been granted to switch a retail unit into a cafe, that is to include a substantial outside area covered with a canopy.
