Tree of Hope Ceremony in Pimlico Tomorrow
Pimlico Green will be the location for the Tree of Hope Ceremony in memory of all those who lost their lives as a result of suicide. The ceremony will start at 2 pm on Saturday 24th of January (tomorrow).
The “Tree of Hope” strives to provide a place of comfort where survivors can memorialise their loved ones lost to suicide or living with depression.
The organisation would like to thank to Aengus O Shodaigh for donating the tree and to Cllr Criona O Dhalaigh for all their help with this planting. A group (Cormac, Mathew and Patrick) will sing and play music at the event and Fr Martin will bless the tree.
While the Tree Of Hope is for everyone affected by a suicide or living with mental health issues to show our support, we will especially be remembering Shannon Kelleher and Ryan Dempsey (two young people sadly (Gone too soon)……
