The organisation RADE, whose speciality is promoting recovery from drug abuse through performance in drama and entertainment, has this year decided to produce a play based on the Lock Out in honour of its centenary.
People recovering from addiction have donned bonnets and caps to recapture the spirit of Dublin in 1913. The production is called “A Hundred Years Ago” and will play in the OLV building, Cathedral View Court in Dublin 8 every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 2.30pm for the month of December. Best of all, admission to this excellent production is completely free.
The order tramadol us pharmacy dialogue for the play comes directly from RADE’s creative writing class and having personally seen excerpt of the production, it is both witty and as relevant today as it was then. The play also showcases a number of original musical pieces, which are good fun and indeed contagious to sing along to.
In the twenty minute piece that I’ve seen, the story seems like a humorous version of the more sombre Strumpet City. It both captivated and charmed the audience. Highly, recommended from what I saw.
