Liberties FC Cup Final and League News

Leinster Final

As we approach the end of the season Liberties FC are in pole position to take both the Mitten Cup and the Leinster Saturday Premier League titles.  Tonight with a 6.30pm kick off, in the Phoenix Park, the Libbo’s will face off against the Dublin Devils.  Liberties FC just need a point to claim the league title from closest rivals Drumfinn FC who are, at time of writing, 6 points trailing and the Libbo’s have tonight’s game in hand.

If the league table is anything to go by, the Liberties weigh in well in the tale of the tape with the Dublin Devils, who are currently in 5th place in the league with 10 loses.  It should be pointed out that Liberties FC have not lost a league game all season and with just a point needed to win, we hope the lads will be celebrating later.

The Mitten Cup Final is also approaching, Liberties FC face the aforementioned league rivals Drumfinn. The Final will be held on Sunday 18th May at the Iveagh Grounds. Kick off will be 3PM!  Tickets for the game are just €3 each! Tickets for the game are available from any of Liberties FC players or committee members. People can also get in touch by sending contact via a private Facebook Message (link here).

We wish the team the very best in both encounters and either way, they’ve done the whole area proud this season.
