Postmaster Darren Battersby of James Street post office announced Friday that, following talks with the management of Spar, it will remain open until July 18th. He told us that An Post are currently in the process of securing a new premises for the area and should have something in place by July. Good news for many of its customers in particular the pensioners in the local area who rely upon its services. More on this over the next 2 months.
