IMMA Summer Party This Weekend
On Saturday night the 16th of July the Irish Museum of Modern Art will be having this year’s IMMA Summer Party.
Unfortunately for those of you are interested in going the tickets are all sold out, but you could chance your arm and see if you can’t get one on the night.
The Summer Party is a nighttime celebration of music, performance, food and drinks, curated by Cillian Murphy who has organized a great line-up for this year’s summer extravaganza.
Cillian Murphy is better known for his own talents as an actor but he is also a singer and guitarist. This will be his first time curating a live music programme.
Acts to look out for on the night include German pianist Hauscha, house music DJ New Jackson, fiddler Caoimhín Ó Raghallaígh and the band Meltybrains.
Throughout the night guests will be entertained by a group of artists with their act Preserves and Presences, programmed by Anna Gritz. They will be performing music, dance, films, installations and readings across the site of the IMMA.
