Halloween Events Guide.
It’s time to brush on the cobwebs and celebrate all things spooky with this handy events guide to keep all you skeletonmen and ghoulies entertained this Halloween.
Scare D8
First off in our spooktacular itinerary is Scare D8 a new community Halloween festival based in the Liberties on the 31st.
There will be a very special Halloween parade gathering at Oliver Bond playing pitch from 5.30pm
The main event with be located in the SWICN Digital Court Rainsfort Street from 5.30pm – 8.30pm
The Cabbage Patch Gardens off Kevin Street will host The Cabbage Patch Cauldron from 5.30pm -10.00pm with a special screening of the classic Halloween movie Hocus Pocus at 8.00pm.
So gather your friends and families together for a night of live music,face painters,a haunted house,street performers,competitions and crafts in the Liberties on the 31st.
The Cauldron of Smithfield.
On 31st October, in Smithfield Square, there will be some fantastic activities for you to sink your teeth into, including a 300ft zip line and a daunting Giant Climbing Wall.
This years event will also introduce a new ‘House of The Damned’ Scare Tent and ‘Night Creatures’ Parade brought to you by local youth organisations and young people.
‘Halloween Town’, a special area for families with younger kids. Featuring Magic Shows, Puppet Theatre, Circus Acts and more…
The ‘House of The Damned’ Scare Tent will be open during the following times: 4:30pm – 5:30pm / 5:45pm – 6:45pm / 7:00pm – 7:30pm, so make sure to come early to ensure your place.
Returning acts including; Dublin Circus Project, Big Screen Playstation Tournaments, Food Stalls, Art Workshops, Art Installations, Giant Bouncy Castle, Face Painting and much more..
