Guinness Storehouse Open for Business
The Guinness Storehouse has opened for business again with a new outdoor area and a new cultural experience, Canvas D8.
Tables for up to six people can be booked online for the vibrant open air Brewery Yard Bar area via the Guinness Storehouse website
Canvas D8 curated by Dublin street artist Aches offers a platform for culture to thrive in the heart of the liberties.
Aches mural Together Stronger is the first time the gates of the brewery have been painted in it’s history and his art features on walls in the surrounding area.
“I think it’s important for the Guinness Storehouse and other spaces like it to open it’s doors to young artists, because we are limited in terms of space to show our work in Dublin” Aches said.
A first of its kind kinetic light instillation is the centre piece of the experience and it envelops the entire central Storehouse atrium.
20 metres high and featuring over 13,000 glowing spheres it is inspired by Aches own signature RGB style.
Guinness Storehouse managing director Catharine Toolan said “We’re so excited to finally open our doors and show everyone what we’ve been working on”
