Five new technology companies has joined The Digital Hub’s “digital family business”, making it 15 new companies in 2016 to join the very serene and modern facility here in the heart of the Liberties. The new companies are AdScribe, Danal Mobile Services Ireland Limited, Ink and Light, Optimal Workshop and PicMonkey.
“After another successful quarter we are delighted to welcome five more companies to join the digital cluster here at The Digital Hub. The new companies have recognised Ireland as a key location within the EU, and have therefore set up their European base in Dublin.
This trend is a reflection of our ongoing relationship with IDA Ireland. Another key factor for companies moving to Dublin is the hunt for flexible office space, which we provide here allowing companies to operate as they need,” Gerry Macken the Chief Executive Officer at the Digital Hub commented on the five new arrivals of his team.
AdScribe is a company that was originally set-up in London. They are an analytics and advertising company that work in television. “We liked a number of places but The Digital Hub was by far the best fit for our requirements. We started the office with just one employee and a plan to hire 3-4 by the end of the year.
The flexibility to do this, yet still have our own office space (rather than ‘co-working’ desks) made The Digital Hub the perfect choice. We also love the area and community spirit amongst the various companies located here,” said Donal O’Connor the CEO of AdScribe.
Danal Mobile does what it says on the box, they provide commerce for mobiles, connecting them to mobile operator networks and access to data.
Ink and Light is a film company that produces children animated and television programmes. “The facilities at The Digital Hub are great. We were up and running on the first day we moved in, no technical or supplier headaches and the connection with other businesses is also of huge benefit, ” Tamsin Lyons the owner of Ink and Light said.
Optimal Workshop is a company that creates tools for websites to help manage content and data. Some of their clients who they have kitted out with Optimal tool kits include NASA, BBC, NETFLIX and National Geographic.
PicMonkey is a photo editing “tool” and features graphic design tools and a collage maker that allows the user to edit and spruce up their photo albums with the latest in photo innovation.
