Orange Juice Recipe
I was looking for a recipe on the internet on how to make your own homemade orange drinks, because vitamin C is something we all need particularly with the seasons now changing. It is always the time when influenzas’ and colds make the appearances again. Taking enough Vitamin C daily and especially extracting it from fresh fruits will strengthen the body’s immune system and make you more able to combat those nasty flues and runny noses.
So what will you need to make this lovely refreshing drink?
4 oranges – nothing else
Method
Lightly smack each orange on the counter or if you prefer you can squeeze it lightly with your palms until the oranges feel tender. Cut each one in half. Squeeze into a glass.
This will give you 1 ½ glasses of fresh orange juice, made in the oldest and easiest way and only takes about 5 minutes to make.
Oranges are good for you for many reasons. It has been proven that oranges boost the immune system function, reduces signs of aging, protect against cancer, boost cellular repair and metabolism, detoxify the body, improves circulation and blood pressure, reduces inflammation, and lowers cholesterol levels.
Orange also has other nutrients in them and hosts a variety of vitamins and minerals hidden in the juice of the orange. There are vitamins C and A, thiamine, folate, potassium, fiber, proteins, copper, magnesium, flavonoids, hesperidin and other trace vitamins and minerals in oranges. If you drink a glass of fresh orange juice with your breakfast every morning, you will feel refreshed and ready for any bad bacteria’s that might be drifting in the air or when you’re on the Luas or bus on your way to work.
