Eatyard Crisp Festival 2025
What better way to celebrate Irelands favourite snack than a full weekend dedicated to all things crisps.
The Eatyard Crisp Festival will take place From August 29th to the 31st at The Bernard Shaw and Eatyard at the Cross Guns Bridge in Dublin 9. The event promises to have the most extensive crisp menu you have ever seen.
The festival will feature a tuck shop stocked with all your favourite retro, classic and old school crisps and corn snacks. There will also be a crispy quiz, blind crisp tasting competitions, Jonnie Onion ring challenge, a DIY crisp sambo making competition and a crisp tasting menu.
There will be plenty of entertainment too with DJ’s, bands and entertainers spread out over 3 floors and into the outdoor areas.
Kids and families are welcome up to 8pm, although there is no kid focused entertainment during the event.
The humble crisp has come a long way since Tayto’s founder Joe ‘Spud’ Murphy invented the flavoured crisp in 1954, an innovation that would go on to revolutionize the snack food industry worldwide. It’s a part of our heritage that has been engrained into our culture and now it’s time to celebrate the nation’s number one snack.
Tickets for the festival are €10 and include a pint and a packet of crisps of your choice.
