Homemade Chilli Con Carne Recipe Guide

Chilli Con Carne recipe – Our guide to making homemade chilli con carne!


1 Large Onion, chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
125g/4oz. Bacon Slices, chopped
1 lb. Minced Beef
1 400g /14oz Can of Tomatoes
1 400g/14oz. Can of Red Kidney Beans, drained
I tablespoon of Mild Chilli Powder


Heat some oil in a saucepan. Add onion, garlic, bacon and fry same. Fry beef until browned. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes approximately.
