Bulletproof Coffee Recipe

For a lot of people there’s nothing better than that first cup of coffee to kick start your day. Coffee can be a healthy drink, provided you keep it clean to get the most benefits from it. Coffee is packed full of antioxidants. It is known to improve your focus and cognitive function. This recipe comes from a man called Brian Hacker who was inspired by a trip to Tibet. He discovered Tibetan yak butter tea and created a delicious recipe.

Brian Hacker says on his website: “The biohacker in me asked, “why?” and after a couple years of careful research, that was the genesis of the recipe below, which is today, used by Billboard recording artists before they go on stage, world champion athletes, and some of the world’s top executives, because it has a massive impact on cognitive function.”

 

Bulletproof® Coffee Recipe

1. Brew 1 cup (8-12 oz.) of coffee using filtered water, just off the boil, with 2 1/2   heaping tablespoons freshly ground Bulletproof® Coffee Beans. (French Press is easiest.)

2. Add in 1-2 tablespoons of Brain Octane™ to the hot coffee (It’s STRONG – start with 1 tsp and work up over several days).

3.  Add 1-2 tablespoons grass-fed, unsalted butter or ghee

4.  Mix it all in a blender for 20-30 seconds until it becomes frothy
