St. Patrick by Annie

Saint Patrick was born in Wales in the late 4th century A.D. Saint Patrick was captured by pirates. The pirates brought Saint Patrick to Ireland and Saint Patrick became a slave for six years then he escaped. Saint Patrick’s real name is Maewyn Succat. Then he returned to his family and home.
He went to France and became a priest then pope Celestine made him a Bishop then saint Patrick went back over to Ireland because he had a dream that his angel was telling him to go back to Ireland.
He prayed the and taught people about God.  Then he got rid of all the snakes. Then he built lots of churches. Saint Patrick died on the 17th of March around 460 or 493. That is important because we celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day on this day.

My favorite thing about Saint Patrick is that we have the parade I go to the parade every year after the parade I go home.
