Fountain Senior Citizens Christmas Bash!
The Fountain Resource Group Senior Citizens had their Christmas Bash in the Basin Centre on Basin Lane. Thirty or so guests came from all over Fountain Resource Group’s Catchment area to have broccoli and cauliflower soup starter with brown bread, the main course was sirloin beef with homemade gravy, mixed veg and croquettes, while the desert was jelly and ice cream with plenty of Aperitifs!
Music was provided by Mick Kenny and his folk band. All the senior citizens were all given a hamper to tide them over the Christmas period.
