Our very own Poraic Cahill has released his first book, called Odd Life. A Dublin correspondent’s observations of the odd and absurd.
Odd Life’ is a collection of odd & absurd situations I’ve encountered over the years (mainly in my capacity as a daily English Times reader…..from a German man accusing his ex-girlfriend of attempted murder by use of her 38DD breasts…..to a 107 year old having a shoot-out with the Arkansas SWAT police), which I’ve attempted to draw a lesson from, through similar experiences I’ve encountered or heard of.
Odd Life contains ninety short-stories which are grouped into six chapters i.e. Sexed-Up, Sporting Chancers, Laying Down the Law, Playing Politics, Down to Business, Live & Learn.
