Nordic Now is an exhibition exhibiting designs from the Nordic region and has been showing in Dun Laoghaire since the 26th of October. But do not fret, there is one week left for you to enjoy a day out to Dun Laoghaire.
The exhibition and events only come to an end on the 17th of November. Eight exhibitors and four visiting designers, from Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, are exhibiting at the design store, Nordic Makers, showcasing their contemporary designs.
The designers are: Hunting & Narud, Ask of Eng, Saana ja Olli, Leena Kouhia, Jenny Nordberg, Kajsa Willner, Edvard & Steenfatt and Tina Marie Bentsen.
Finnish ambassador, Jaana Teckenberg was saying: “It has been such a pleasure to collaborate with Nordic Makers and our fellow Nordic Embassies here in Ireland to present Nordic Now. We are all so proud of our Nordic design heritage and can’t wait to share it through the exhibition, seminar and our national events.”
The exhibition is open daily from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm, until the 17th November 2016. This Thursday will be the last opportunity to enjoy an evening presentation with one of the Nordic Designers from Denmark, Edvard & Steenfatt. The presentation will start at 7 pm.
