Experience Japan will be taking place this weekend, Sunday 23rd April from 12PM-4PM at Farmleigh House and Estate in the Pheonix Park. Bring your friends, your family, your kids, your dogs (on leads!) and enjoy the huge variety of Japan, from traditional Taiko drumming to modern-day Cosplay.
Heres a breakdown of what to expect on the day:
12.00 Opening / J-Pop dance / Taiko/ Nankin Tamasudare (Japanese traditional performance) / Martial Arts demo / Irish & Japanese healing music
13.10 Children’s performance / Japanese traditional dance / Irish modern music band / Shamisen (Japanese string instrument) / Cosplay
14.30 Welcome performance: EJ & Kids’ Taiko fusion of Bodhrán and dance / Bodhrán performance / Soranbushi
15.45 Japanese Matsuri Grand Finale
Expect to see performances from Hibiki Ishikawa, Junshi Murakami, Robbie Walsh and Lowlight Gathering.
