Calling all vegans out there, this event is just for you! The Dublin Vegfest will be taking place on the 11th of September 2016, that is a Sunday, at Griffith Conference Centre on the South Circular Road.
Festivities will begin at 11 am and continue until 5 pm. This is the biggest vegan festival in Ireland where vegans will get to talk to experts, enjoy performances, visit stalls and talk to diet and nutritionists about vegan diets.
Dublin Vegfest is not for the vegan only, everyone is most definitely welcome. It is not only about being a vegan, it is about celebrating the benefits of veganism and encouraging healthier lifestyles.
Dublin Vegfest is being sponsored by Moodley Manor, Cornucopia Restaurant, Art of Zen Foods and KoKo Dairy Free. Speakers will be giving talks throughout the day.
Bite Size Vegan – Emily Moran Barwick, Fiona Oakes – three times record holder and elite athlete, Will Travel For Vegan Food – Kristin Lajeunesse, Dr Ailis Brosnan – Your Healthy Coach, Conor Kerley – Advantages and possible concerns of plant based diets throughout life, and Roger Yates – Speaker and educator, will entertain the crowds with lots of information and guidance to living it up as a vegan.
There will also be performances by Ines Khai, Kiruu, Sian Brown and Five Ways, making music and poetry and livelying up the fest with some real vegan ambiance.
Veganism is on the rise as more and more people turn to this lifestyle to improve their health, protect the planet and join the fight against greenhouse gasses.
