David Cross Show At Vicar Street

On Tuesday the 14th of June, Vicar Street will be hosting an evening of comedy. US Hollywood actor and comedian David Cross will be performing his Making America Great Again show.

The Emmy-award-winner is famous for his roles in “Mr Show”, Arrested Development, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Men in Black I & II. He also did voiceover work on Megamind and the Kung Fu Panda series.

Stand-up comedian Cross who has been touring with his show since January has received great reviews for Making America Great Again.

“I am extremely excited to get back out on the road after five long years away,” the comedian said in a statement. “I was very busy writing for The View, but now that the kids are off to college, my wife’s regiment has been transferred to McMurdo Station in the South Pole, and I’m near completion on Fallout 4, it’s time to start up the bus and bring my patented, fart-inducing laugh winces to a town near you.”

The title for the show has a ‘similar’ title to Donald Trump’s campaign can i buy valium in bali slogan, Making America Great Again, following in the footsteps of ex-American President Ronald Reagan who had a ‘similar’ campaign slogan “Let’s Make America Great Again!”.

Travis Laurence Naught who writes for Big Smoke America says: Religion, racism, sexism, homophobia, work ethic, drugs, gun control, police issues, immigration, food, domestic violence, rape, tattoos … I’m sure I’m leaving something out, but it all piles upon itself after a while. Sometimes it piled up until I found myself chuckling over another punch line.”

The New York Times: “His finest comedic arguments emerge from a muffled rage, none more so than his long chunk of material on gun control. Its core was the question always asked after mass shootings: How many children must die before we pass strict gun control laws?”

The Austin Chronicle: “As for the rest of Cross’ long-form jokes, they are perhaps best left for consumption on Netflix, where the special is headed. So here is one final note: The penultimate bit, in which Cross pretends to be another Texan, is the funniest impression of the person being lampooned that I have ever seen. Bravo.”
