Summer Concert with Anuna at Richmond Barracks 8pm Sunday 30th of July. Limited tickets left at €20.
World famous vocalists Anuna are to perform a night of music at Richmond Barracks in Inchicore in memory of poet Francis Ledwidge. Ledwidge died 100 years ago on the 31st of July 1917 in World War I. Dublin City Council is sponsoring the event to commemorate the death of the poet in the battle of Ypres in Belguim. Ledwidge, from Slane, Co Meath, began his army career in Richmond Barracks and spent time writing poems while at the barracks. This is a chance for members of the public to get to see the Barracks.
