A Christmas Carol production took place in The Dolours Church in Dolphins Barn over the weekend. Fr. Peter McVerry gave a moving speech to the crowd about the devastating effects of the homelessness crisis we have in Ireland.
The production was a delight to see and showcased the wonderful talents of some well known actors. The Cast For this production were P J Brady, Sharon Hogan, Eamonn Hunt, Andrea Irvine, Michael Judd, John Lovett, Sam McGovern, Eimear Morrissey, Christiane O’Mahony, Karl O’Neill, Mathew Ralli, and special young actors were Sophie Davey, Jude Lynch, and Oisin Ryan.
Donations were collected in aid of the wonderful work that Fr. Peter McVerry does when working on the ground with homeless people. Also in accordance and giving us some delightful Christmas Carols and anthem’s where, The Metropolitan Concert Band. The event was sponsored by Back Of The Pipes & Dublin City Council.
