Not a huge lot going on planning-wise in Dublin 8 this week, apart from the DCC turning down an extension relating to the Windmill Site at the Digital Hub. This site is 3.2 acres in size – huge for an inner city vacant plot – and is home to the largest surviving Smock Windmill in Europe. The current windmill can be seen above, and artists impressions of the proposed development of that plot can be viewed at the bottom of this page.
