Finally! Weaver Park here we come!
A statement released from Dublin City Council:
‘I’m pleased to inform you that the tender process for Weaver Park is now complete. The successful contractor, Bracegrade ltd has been appointed and is expected on site in the coming weeks. The contractors programme is six months, so all going well we expect the works to be complete summer 2017.
I would also like to thank you for all the support that you have shown this project to date.’
Weaver Park will become a recreational area with an amphitheatre, a raised lawn, outdoor micro gym, picnic area, play area, seating and a terrace for hangout space.
Local residents had their say in designing the park and attended designer workshops to help design the layout and design.
