The Thomas Street Ambassador Programme, run by the Thomas Street Business Association, is ending this Saturday. So this is your last chance to stop one of the ambassadors to ask about the history of the area, or amenities that are available. Ambassadors are available daily until Saturday, from 10am to 4pm, on Thomas Street.

The programme was funded by Thomas Street Business Association and managed by Volunteer Ireland, with support from Dublin City South Volunteer Centre. In total, there were around 30-40 ambassadors on active duty. There is talk about the programme being resurrected for a longer period of time in some form, in the near future, so make sure you keep an eye on the Thomas Street website for further news.
