Say good bye to Manchester United, and hello to St James’s United who on Sunday 20th of May put the league trophy into their hands by gaining 1 point against Beachwood in Drimnagh. The day started off against our boys but they quickly got into the spirit of things and showed how to put on a spectacular show and win in style. They only needed 1 point to win the League and thanks to Anto Delancey, Jordon Knowles and the rest of the team they got it!
Their trainer Paul Carrey is said to be absolutely delighted with their performance this year. The season this year was amazing with a near flawless record, well done lads. May I also say well done to St Jambos Darren Kenny, who won man of the match.
So on behalf of everyone here at the Fountain we wish you best wishes and good luck next season.
