We Introduced the Liberties FC New Chairman MR PETER O’NEILL!
Ladies and Gentlemen it is our pleasure to introduce, to fill the big shoes of outgoing chairman Paul Stanley, your new club chairman Mr Peter O’Neill!
Peter has become club chairman having successfully managed the Over 35’s in their debut season and has wasted no time in making his mark!! Watch this space!! In the meantime this is what Peter had to say when we caught up with him:
“I’m both honoured and excited to take the helm of the club! I only hope I can live up to my own expectations as well as the clubs! I wish to be an integral part of the club from the Seniors, our new Ladies team, of course the Over 35’s…..AND…..(Club has forbidden me from saying any more….YET!! LOL)”
I’ve always been proud of my background and where I come from and I’ll always try to show the Liberties in a positive light. I truly believe Liberties F.C can be a beacon of our community. We want to represent our area with pride & integrity and give our families, neighbours & friends a team the community can get behind and be proud of!
We are all in this together and to echo our former chairman’s sentiment ‘it’s more than a club it’s a (our) way of life…’ ”
