Gallery: Remember, Remember, The Snow In December?

The Fountain on James's Street, during the snow/cold/bad weather of November and December 2010

We are in the process of going through the old articles from the old Fountain News digital newsletter, and the plan is to add every single one of them to the Newswire on this site. We are about a third of the way through that, and in the process, revisiting some interesting local articles.

One of the ones that caught my eye was an article which featured some beautiful pictures, taken in Dublin 8, of the snow-heavy cold period we had in November and December 2010. The images are almost postcard like, and from what we can remember, they were taken by our very own Alan Finn and Eoghan Brunkard. We are looking through our records, and we’ll add confirmation about that as soon as we can be sure.

For the moment, here are some wonderful snowy pics of Dublin 8 for you to enjoy!

The image at the top of this page depicts the Fountain on James’s Street, opposite our local information office. Our organisation derives it’s name from that very fountain!
