Do you have some free time on your hands? If so the F2 Centre at Fatima have free classes up and running since last year, and in particular the Tuesday evening art class which runs from 7 to 9pm.
Once you arrive at reception you sign in, and you can either walk the stairs or take the lift up to the 3rd floor, where your teacher for the evening, Miriam, will show you at your pace how to create a wonderful bit of art; a still drawn, colour splashes, etc.
This is a great evening with a decent group of folks who attend. There is no age stigma attached to this group, and you will be shown exactly what to do, if there is something in particular which you want to do. There is generally a decent turn out, but there are still a few places left, and you don’t have to be a resident of the Dublin 8 area to join up, people from all areas are very much welcomed.

Also if you have a couple of hours to spare on a Thursday morning, why not try your hand at Jewellery making? Those classes run weekly from 11am top 1pm at the F2 Centre. It’s a great way to make yourself a fabulous piece, or if you want to make a special gift for family and friends, it’s a fun way and you could save yourself a small fortune when it comes to Christmas, Birthday presents. The F2 Centre do run other classes do ask them what’s on offer, the Art and Jewellery classes are free, but do ask just in case. Good Luck!!!!!
