Christmas Village Dublin Castle
From now until the 22nd of December the central courtyard of Dublin Castle will be turned into a winter wonderland.
For the first time in its history, the castle will host a Victorian themed market complete with 30 traditional Swiss chalets featuring an array of decorative crafts.
The centerpieces of the market are the vintage carousel and the traditional Neapolitan crib.
Free horse and carriage rides around the castle grounds will be available at the weekend with carol singers featuring every evening.
There will also be a range of Christmas treats to indulge in from roast chestnuts to flame grilled hot dogs and burgers.
The market will be open from 12-8pm every day.
