Casadh To Premier Their 1st Film: Locked Out! (Nov 29)

Casadh Drug Free Group Film - Locked Out! 1913

The Casadh treatment centre, based in Newmarket, are to premiere their first ever film, at Liberty Hall on Eden Quay in Dublin 1 on Friday the 29th of November 2013. The Dublin 8 drug treatment programme have been doing sterling work here in our community for many years, and this film is yet another feather in their cap.

The film is called ‘Locked Out!’, and it celebrates the centenary of the 1913 Lockout. It was made by their ‘Drug Free Group’, and they done an excellent job! The Drug Free Group are on the final leg of the Casadh 3-Step-Process, which gives those who are suffering from addiction a means to come off drugs, and stay off, via CE schemes, intensive mentoring and guidance, amongst other things.

The Casadh 3-Step-Process
1- Stabilisation Group
2- Progression Group
3- Drug Free Aftercare

The Liberty Hall event will also be used to present various certificates and awards, along with Graduation certificates for those who have completed a year drug free. The event will also be the platform from which the organisation launches it’s brand new website, which I am working on right now!

A bunch of us from FRG will be heading down to the gig, and all locals are invited too. The venue is spectacular, and the film promises to be very entertaining, so make sure you pop along if you can.
