If you have nothing on this weekend, you could head over to the Clarion Hotel in Liffey Valley to check out one of the largest collections of collectables you will witness on this island. The kids will certainly enjoy themselves, but there are many adults who will enjoy themselves even more, because the interest in these kinds of toys amongst the so-called grown ups amongst us, is expanding all of the time!
These fairs have been a regular occurrence at the Clarion Hotel in Liffey Valley over the past few years, and are run by Brian Collins Enterprises, a well known face on the collectables circuit. Admission is €4 for adults, €2 for OAP’s and students, and just €1 for children. Many of the traders are Irish businesses, so in many cases, you will be supporting local employment too.
This time around there will be a special edition Dublin Bus model, commissioned by the fairs organisers, available to purchase on the day.
