Jamaican Banana Surprise recipe – Our guide to making homemade Jamaican banana surprise!
INGREDIENTS
4 Large Bananas, sliced lengthways.
25g/ 1 oz. Of Butter, cut into small pieces
Juice of 2 Lemons
50g/2oz. Brown Sugar
50ml. /2 fl. Oz. Rum
METHOD
Place bananas in ovenproof dish. Dot over with butter and sprinkle with lemon juice and brown sugar. Bake for 15 minutes at gas mark 4. Gently heat rum, do not boil. Pour over bananas and serve.
