He was born in Wales and he got kidnapped by bunch of pirates by the age of 16. After 6 years he escaped to France.
He became a priest and the pope made him into a bishop and told him you should go back to Ireland.
Then when he got back he told the Irish about God and he built lots of churches and got rid of all the snakes. He died in 461Ad on the 17th of March and that’s why St. Patrick’s day is the 17th of March.
