Saint Patrick was born in Britain. His real name is Maewyn Succut. He got kidnapped by Pirates when he was 16 and they made him into a slave. They took him to Ireland for six years. He escaped from Ireland and he went to France.
He prayed to God. And he became a priest.He was made a bishop by pope Celestine. He went back to Ireland .And he built lots of churches. He got rid of all the snakes. He lived on a mountain and the mountain was called Crough Patrick.
He died on the 17th of March and we celebrate Saint Patrick day on the 17th of March.
