This years Dublin City Marathon, sponsored by Airtricity, will have a record number of runners, joggers, walkers and wheelchair participants. There will be around 14,500 people taking part in the 2013 Dublin City Marathon according to many media reports, including possibly many folks from right here in Dublin 8.
The race, founded in 1980, takes place on Monday the 28th of October, a bank holiday, starting at Fitzwilliam Square and ending at Merrion Square. The race is now closed to entrants, so the best of luck to all of those who have signed up. We hope you all enjoy the race, and raise plenty of money for your chosen charities.
