The Klares will play support to “Big September” at the Academy on Abbey Street this May 17th. This cool new group won a competition last year “The Webfactor” and preformed at YouBloom@Dublin.
As you may recall, we at the Fountain, your favourite online newswire, hooked up with the Klares last year, when we went out to meet them on their home turf in Blackrock Co Dublin. We met Rebecca their manger and the mother of Jordan, as well as the four lads on the sea front
This very unique four piece group has all the trappings of a very young U2. They also claim influence from the Arctic Monkeys, and are already writing and recording their own stuff. The band comprises Jordan Lawless, who plays the bass/backing vocals, Andy Burke, who sings and plays the rhythm guitar. Eoin O’ Shea, who plays the lead guitar and also does backing vocals, and Cormac Sheridan, who plays the drums and also performs backing vocals.
The lads are not even close to their prime as they are still under the 18 mark, their youth does not stop from putting on a show, “The Klares” can deliver and have delivered. Last year also saw them release their EP, “Dirty Birds”, with a cracking single called “Leave without me tonight”, do yourself a favour and download it, it really is a great tune!
The Klares will be supporting “Big September Saturday 17th May 2014, and if you haven’t seen them play, go and see them, they are just so cool and can really rock.
