Hello, It’s Adele

Myself and my dear friend Paula managed to bag free tickets to see Adele perform in the 3 Arena over the weekend. We arrived when Adele just came on and in the middle of her intro song, Hello. We had a decent view of the main stage. Adele wore a gold dress with shiny sequins and made her presence felt. She shared stories and was full of humour. The 3 Arena was packed, everywhere you looked the crowds were screaming and cheering. The atmosphere was buzzing!

After her first couple of songs, the back drop of the stage opened up to reveal an Orchestra. Suddenly the main stage came alive with beaming lights. Adele stood centre of stage and killed it with her outstanding vocals. This lady can sing.

She performed some of her greatest hits such as Rumour Has It,  Set Fire To The Rain, Someone Like You, Turning Tables, Home town Glory, Chasing Pavements. We where also treated to songs of her latest album 25.

Another highlight of the show was when Adele plucked two Irish musician’s out of the crowd to do a take on Adele’s hit’s Hello and Someone like you. The duo Glenn Murphy and Ronan Scolard must be on top of the world, well done lads!

Toward the end of the show a young lady fainted in the pit area, Adele kindly stopped after one of her songs and had the young lady brought on to the stage, had a chair brought out for her to sit to watch the remainder of the show. Adele even brought up this young girl’s brother to sit with her!

Adele nailed these two show’s! There was not one person who came out of the 3 Arena who did not enjoy her show, everyone left on a high.
